Livery History

Back in 1988 British Rail decided to create sectors in the rail freight industry:oil, metals, coal, distribution and construction. Each sector had a branded logo which was used until 1993. Our loco livery was metals (blue and yellow arrows logo) but also hauled oils and petroleum and coal. She was based from Cardiff, Motherwell and Thornaby in Teeside. Coming up to 30 years of

714 Re-paint

Our loco is currently in Derby at LORAM being prepared for her re-paint into railfrieght triple grey metals livery. Name plates and dedication plaque are also being manufactured and the loco will be in it’s new guise for the Spring Diesel Gala at The Great Central Railway, 18 – 19th March 2017.
